The vision for our church began in 1990 by a group of people in central New Hampshire who were interested in starting a new work in Laconia. Some of those interested had attended the First Free Will Baptist Church in New Durham, New Hampshire and thus the contact was made.

God has blessed the planting of Heritage Baptist Church with fruitful growth. Having been started in 1992 as a church planting effort, it has grown continuously throughout the past two decades. Heritage is built on a solid foundation of systematic Bible preaching, evangelistic outreach, and reverent worship. For the past 28 years Pastor Joel Nason has been the sole pastor who has shepherded and fed the flock as the sole Pastor in the church’s existence. Heritage has developed a strong local ministry but remains globally minded in its effort to get the gospel to the untold millions.
